Throughout his world travels he’s performed Robotic Surgery in the Dominican Republic, Spain, Israel, Germany, London, and Greece.He gathered his team and made their home at Lenox Hill Hospital for Acute Care where he is the Chief of Robotic Surgery and Chairman of Urology. He holds the position of Professor of Urology at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine.Dr. Samadi is a board-certified Urologist and a member of the American Urological Association and the American Medical Association.Dr. David Samadi is developing and designing the “Samadi Modified Advanced Robotic Technique” or called “SMART”.He is going to change the procedure “Nerve Sparing Prostate Surgery” for removing the Prostate Gland. The nerves will be separated from the Prostate using “Microscopic Precision Robotic Equipment” to prevent damage to the Sphincter and the nerves.

This technique will help to eliminate the conditions of Impotence and Incontinence some patients experience after the surgery. He attended Stony Brook University and earned a degree in Biochemistry and his M.D. from their School of Medicine in 1994. He continued his Post-Graduate training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In 2001 he entered a Fellowship program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and trained in another Fellowship program for Robotic Radical Prostatectomy at Henri Mondor Hospital Creteil in France.Dr. David Samadi became Vice Chair of the Department of Urology in 2007 while he practiced medicine at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine.
